Merloys edits moments from the Stiff Socks podcast into short clips; it is not the podcast's own channel. Its back catalog includes rounds built around guessing a number or identifying a person. The third number-guessing installment from September is approaching ten million views, with several other guessing Shorts also in the millions.

The October uploads tell a quieter story. "She'd be a great president 🇺🇸😂#shorts," posted two days ago, has only a small fraction of those audiences. Its description outlines another number-guessing game, with players using questions to work toward an answer.

The channel-wide increase cannot be pinned on that upload. Merloys' milestone is clear; which clips account for the sudden change is not.
