Minecraft's sunset isn't just scenery: it changes the rhythm of play. That's one of the distinctions Any Austin draws in "The (Objectively) Best Video Game Sunsets," a tour that finds room for blocky horizons alongside elaborate clouds and carefully colored wilderness.
The week's biggest upload has reached roughly 1.5 million views. Austin separates a calculated ranking, built from articles and online discussions, from his own personal tiers. Those don't always agree. Firewatch and The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt place high in the countdown but receive more modest personal grades; Red Dead Redemption 2 gets both the top spot and his S-tier endorsement. He singles out how its light transforms streets and landscapes even when you're looking away from the sun. The video includes a paid Mint Mobile segment.
Viewers have been filling in their own horizons: Cyberpunk 2077's desert, the sky islands in Tears of the Kingdom, and Halo Infinite's ring. One math teacher also says Austin's logarithmic scoring formula will become a classroom example, an unexpected destination for a sunset countdown.
Across the channel, the week brought about 4.4 million views, while the subscriber count stayed unchanged. Daily viewing is now more than triple its usual level. Digital Foundry is also drawing above-usual daily traffic, while BeatEmUps and Iron Pineapple are having quieter days.
Austin's other new upload, "how many boys and girls are in Cyberpunk 2077?", returns to his interest in counting virtual populations. And beyond the sunsets, "The Most \"Normal\" GTA Game" remains a busy regular video, with his earlier Short about CD Projekt Red and NPC employment also gathering views. Landscapes or residents, his attention keeps landing on the parts of games that aren't the mission.

What viewers say
Im surprised that Cyberpunk 2077 wasnt included, watching the sunset while beign in the middle of the desert feels so good and dystopian.
@nisx2012See it on YouTube8:42 Should've shown the TOTK sunsets from the sky islands' perspective, they look absolutely insane from that high up and they're frankly the biggest reason I still come back to the game even after completing it. They also really complement the colour scheme of the sky islands
@aarne602See it on YouTubeNot quite a sunset, but I sure love watching the sunsetting of the sun in Outer Wilds. Can't help but pause and look
