Timber's touch gives Arsenal's Lille win an extra replay

Eberechi Eze and Bukayo Saka also scored, while an Arteta-to-Giroud throwback added a different era to the upload shelf.

Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.

Three goals, all after halftime. Arsenal's home win over Lille supplied much of the official club channel's viewing menu, with the match highlights passing a million views and individual moments getting their own outings.

Jurrien Timber's goal became a particular talking point. Viewers singled out the touch before his finish, described it as a striker's goal and reached for Dennis Bergkamp comparisons. Others focused on Martin Odegaard's pressure before the second goal and the Eze-Saka celebration. One commenter had a simpler memory to take away: this was their first Arsenal game.

Across fifteen new uploads, the club found room for more than the scoresheet. Declan Rice's sprint to stop a counterattack received its own clip, as did the passing connection between Odegaard and Kai Havertz. That connection is currently drawing the most daily views among the channel's uploads, followed by Timber's touch-and-finish clip and Saka's goal.

The channel added about 10,000 subscribers over the week and drew roughly 19 million views. Its daily viewing is currently much slower than usual, despite that substantial weekly total. Among the nearby club channels, Manchester United is having a particularly busy day, while Manchester City's daily viewing is also subdued.

For a change of era, "WHEN MIKEL ARTETA ASSISTED OLIVIER GIROUD" returns to Arsenal against Manchester United in the 2014/15 Premier League season. Alongside all those freshly isolated touches and passes against Lille, there is a reminder of Arteta supplying the ball himself.
