Casualty's cast choose their favorite scenes from Holby's history
The official channel's only new upload revisits memorable moments alongside its 40th-anniversary collection.
Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.
Casualty: Looking Back – Cast Favourites
Choosing a favorite scene is quite an assignment when your show has decades of emergency-ward drama to draw on. BBC Casualty handed that task to its cast in "Casualty: Looking Back – Cast Favourites," its sole new upload of the week, which has reached about 17,000 views.
The retrospective is comfortably the channel's most active video right now. In the comments, one viewer singles out William Beck getting starstruck, while another mentions watching classic Casualty alongside the look back. There is also a request for a Christmas special and a little discussion of the show's logo and whether the original theme might return. For this audience, the memories extend beyond the scenes themselves.
The anniversary drama remains available for a different kind of catch-up. "Dylan Faces His Toughest Crisis Yet... | 40th Anniversary | Casualty" centers on Stevie and Flynn trapped in a sinking ambulance in a quarry, with Indie trying to revive them and Dylan needing encouragement himself. These are scripted emergencies in the hospital drama, rather than real-life rescue footage.
Across the channel, subscribers were unchanged over seven days, while the existing collection and new upload added roughly 244,000 views. Today's viewing is well below the usual daily level. Nearby television channels Gilmore Girls and NCIS had much larger viewing weeks, but Casualty's new contribution was firmly personal to the show: the cast looking back at the scenes they would choose to revisit.

So it looks like they’ve gone back to the future with the show’s logo.
I don’t think they’ll go the whole hog and go back to the original theme. Modern broadcasting seems to call for opening and closing credits as short as possible where possible.@CrappyTimeZoneSee it on YouTube
