From tree shade to painted handprints at Beast Philanthropy's school

Roslyn's Kenyan classroom story remains the channel's busiest upload during a week without a new release.

Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.

How 1 Teacher Changed 100+ Lives

No new uploads, more subscribers. Beast Philanthropy added roughly 100,000 subscribers over the week, while an older school story supplied much of its daily viewing.

In "How 1 Teacher Changed 100+ Lives," the starting point is a tree. Roslyn began teaching children beneath its shade in a Kenyan community without a school, with logs serving as seats and no desks. Parents later built wooden classrooms with iron roofs, but those brought their own problems: noisy rain, heat, dust, and no floors or water.

The Short follows the team's decision to build a proper school, then shows Roslyn, students and the hosts leaving painted handprints on its wall. That small, personal finishing touch gives the construction story something beyond a new building.

As we reported here in September, Roslyn's story was already attracting fresh attention. Its daily viewing has since increased substantially, and the Short has now passed 24 million views. Across the channel, daily views are a little below their usual level, even as the subscriber count grows.

Among nearby channels in size, Jordan Matter and How Ridiculous are having above-usual viewing days; Preston and Ryan Trahan are running more slowly than usual. Beast Philanthropy's week belongs to its existing projects: alongside Roslyn's school, "We Built Lifesaving Clinics Around The World" continues drawing viewers to Texas A&M students converting shipping containers into medical clinics.
