Beta Squad takes its grocery-store hideout challenge to America
The group's USA edition follows its Season 5 catch-up, as daily channel views climb to more than six times their usual pace.
Why this story? The whole channel is running at 4,151,451 views a day, 6.1 times a normal day (675,683).
Beta Squad has moved from talking over food to trying to stay hidden among it. After the sit-down catch-up in "BETA SQUAD MUKBANG," the group's next upload sets a more awkward task: secretly living inside an American grocery store.
"How Long Can We Secretly Live In A Grocery Store?: USA Edition" arrived on October 17 and has already drawn roughly 4.8 million views. The description sets out the premise plainly: Chunkz, Niko Omilana, AJ Shabeel, Sharky and King Kenny are hiding without the staff knowing, with getting caught as the clock they are trying to outrun.
Its release coincides with a much busier day across Beta Squad's channel, which added about 4.2 million views. That is more than six times its usual daily pace, although the channel-wide rise cannot all be assigned to the grocery-store upload.
The setting changes, but the endurance question is familiar. "LAST TO LEAVE THE BOX FT AMP" sits at the top of the group's most-watched regular videos, while "LAST TO FALL ASLEEP FT AMP" is another enduring part of its catalog. Here, rather than staying awake or staying inside a box, the boys have made remaining unnoticed the challenge.
