BFordLancer puts the Sullivan brothers' dream XI under scrutiny

The Philadelphia Union brothers' FC27 picks have viewers asking about Pulisic and midfield balance as the month-old video draws fresh attention.

Why this story? The video is running at 29,748 views a day, 5.5 times its usual pace (5,450).

Cavan and Quinn Sullivan Dream XI

BFordLancer invited Cavan and Quinn Sullivan to build a dream team in FC27. Being professional players themselves hasn't spared the Philadelphia Union brothers from the familiar soccer-fan question: would that lineup actually work?

"Cavan and Quinn Sullivan Dream XI," posted in September, is drawing about 30,000 views a day, more than five times its usual daily pace. It has reached roughly 579,000 views, making this a fresh burst for an older upload rather than a fast launch.

The comments offer some specific revisions. Viewers ask why Christian Pulisic wasn't included, while one suggests that the midfield needs Sergio Busquets for balance. The longtime Barcelona holding midfielder is a telling choice: a dream team can have plenty of attacking talent and still need someone to hold it together. Another viewer raises the difficulty of comparing generations, pointing to the nostalgia that comes with watching different players growing up.

The brothers' selection exercise is a different kind of football fantasy from BFordLancer's latest uploads. Since then, he has taken on Inter Kashi in career mode and tried Football Referee Life Simulator, where the description casts him as a corrupt referee rather than the person choosing the team.
