Brooke Monk answers a put-down with a lip-sync shrug

Her unnamed-critic clip has already drawn several times her usual full-day Shorts audience, with another upload also starting unusually fast.

Why this story? The video opened at a pace of 430,794 views a day, 6.9 times a normal first day on this channel (62,308).

I can’t believe this happened

Brooke Monk tucks her hair behind her ear, poses for the camera and lets the text on screen deliver the pointed part. In "I can't believe this happened," she says someone criticized her appearance, then describes that person as a girl who copies everything she does.

It is a lip-sync, not a spoken explanation. A hip-hop track supplies the audio, and Monk names nobody in the clip.

The Short reached nearly 300,000 views in its first 12 hours, already well beyond her usual full-day audience. Its comment section is also more than three times as busy as a typical first day, before that first day is complete.

A separate upload titled "Can you relate?" is drawing an unusually large early audience too. But this clip needs little setup: changing captions, a dismissive expression and a small shrug carry Monk's response.
