Caleb's Cartoon Collection Pt.1 (More coming very SOON) #LiveActionCartoons #CartoonPhysics
Real footage, cartoon rules: Caleb Natale's new collection has viewers wondering what these performances look like before the effects go on. One commenter imagines the fun of recording those movements; others recognize echoes of Popeye, Tom and Jerry and Tex Avery.
"Caleb's Cartoon Collection Pt.1 (More coming very SOON) #LiveActionCartoons #CartoonPhysics" was his only upload of the week, drawing about 17,000 views in its first eight hours. It gives his live-action cartoon series a collection format, and the conversation stretches beyond requests for another installment. Some viewers want a full-length movie; others recall growing up with the exaggerated physics he recreates.
The channel's older cartoon cookout remains its busiest upload by daily views, with the new collection next and his World Cup-themed cartoon also prominent. The cookout was the focus of our previous note; this time, the fresh arrival offers a broader invitation into Caleb's cartoon world.
Across the channel, the week brought roughly 2.4 million views while subscribers held steady. Daily viewing is currently less than half its usual pace. Among nearby sketch channels, Danny Rayes and Matt Storer had much larger viewing weeks, while PeachMonkey's was quieter.
For anyone wondering how Caleb builds these illusions, his catalog has a practical counterpart: tutorials on morphing, flying, changing size and creating an army with After Effects and Blender.
