Orange hazmat suits won't keep Caylus safe in Benny's Backrooms

Tomo joins a co-op scavenging mission where navigation tools matter almost as much as escaping the monsters.

0:32An orientation tape assigns the team to collect Tescil in the Backrooms using a T-Vac.
1:52Caylus and Tomo explore the corridors, encountering hostile ball creatures and finding equipment.
2:57The towering green Benny appears; the encounter's outcome comes here.
7:11A new run adds a wall-penetrating scanner and a Stamp Gun for marking navigational arrows.
10:25The duo reaches a safe room, deposits Tescil and upgrades their suits.
18:23A massive centipede stalks the halls as the final collection scramble begins.

Caylus starts dancing in the launch facility, pulls a lever and heads into a maze with Tomo. The assignment in "BENNY'S BACKROOMS.." sounds straightforward: collect a substance called Tescil for Alcazar Industries. The towering green creature waiting in the corridors makes it considerably less routine.

The horror session is the most-watched of Caylus's four uploads this week, with roughly 233,000 views. Caylus credits fellow creator Socksfor1 with making the game. Between hostile ball creatures and a massive centipede, he and Tomo have practical problems to solve, too: finding a deposit point, upgrading their suits and remembering where they've been. A Stamp Gun that paints navigational arrows is a particularly useful addition to their equipment.

The comments include a request for Caylus and Tomo to try another game, Anomaly in the Train, alongside a viewer recognizing something of the older Caylus in this outing.

Elsewhere, "GTA 5 But Everytime I EAT, My Size DOUBLES.." turns eating into a growth mechanic, while "THE WHEELCHAIR MAN.." supplies another horror title. The newest upload, "Breaking EVERY BONE in SKATE 4..", had the strongest first-day viewing of the four and is now drawing substantially more daily views than the Backrooms session.

Across the channel, weekly views topped twelve million, while subscribers held steady. Daily viewing is running above its usual level. Among the nearby variety-gaming channels, only Markiplier collected more views over the week.

But Caylus's busiest video right now predates all four new arrivals: "GTA 5 But Water Rises Every Second.." has reached about 2.2 million views. Rising water is doing more of the daily viewing work than either the skateboard tumbles or Benny's corridors.
