"Baby Vampire," the second episode of Eternally Yours, turns becoming undead into a problem with an ordinary calendar conflict. Charles saved Max's life by turning him into a vampire, but his daughter's boyfriend isn't ready to accept the consequences. Ordered to stay home, Max sneaks out for an urgent presentation at the Social Security Administration. His new appetite hasn't agreed to wait until after work.
CBS's full-episode upload reached roughly 24,000 views in nine hours, already far beyond the channel's usual first-day audience. Its second episode of Cupertino is also drawing an unusually fast audience, making this a notable day for full episodes rather than just trailers and snippets.
Eternally Yours builds its family comedy around Charles and Liz, played by Ed Weeks and Allegra Edwards, whose centuries-long marriage has settled into a rut. Here, Charles has two social problems: containing a new vampire and attempting to make a human friend at his own workplace. He approaches lunch with a coworker with considerably less ease than he uses his supernatural powers.
The comments pick up on how quickly the show has changed Max's circumstances. Some viewers expected his transformation much later in the series; another imagines a spinoff about the Winnipeg coven threatened as his place of exile. There is also surprise that CBS has made another complete episode available on YouTube.
