Fifteen uploads, one voice. Cheap Noodle spent the week doing what the channel does: putting a voice to food clips, school clips and random comments, numbered like a running diary. The about text explains why that voice matters. The creator has a speech impediment, records until a take comes out right, lets a few slips through, and made the channel to show people with disabilities that there is no reason to hide.
The week belonged to the food series. "food memes 26" passed two million views, and its comment section is fixated on two things: grapes billed as the size of apples, and a pile of sprinkles that left one viewer annoyed for no reason at all. A good number of people expect another food creator, Chef Phoenix, to take the giant grapes as a personal challenge, and one patient commenter points out that even the biggest grape varieties stay well short of apple size. Others cannot get over a muffin tray loaded far past what seems fair.
The two newer food entries are keeping up the pace, with number 28 moving fastest of all on its first day. The school memes ran close behind, and "Voicing random comments" has now reached its 334th installment.
The daily pace sat a little below the channel's usual, yet about 18,000 new subscribers arrived in seven days. Among the comedy and sketch channels around its size, none gained more views this week, with phoebeisginger also having a busy run while Kai Lentit moved well above his usual and Theodore Nivison and Jumy were quieter.
