Tom Baker's First Season as the Fourth Doctor | Season 12: Highlights | Doctor Who: Classic

Tom Baker's scarf-wearing Fourth Doctor has a substantial introduction waiting here: a season-spanning highlights compilation that has passed 110,000 views. Doctor Who: Classic | FULL EPISODES posted nothing new this week, but Baker's first season is among the channel's most active uploads.

"Tom Baker's First Season as the Fourth Doctor | Season 12: Highlights | Doctor Who: Classic" brings together Elisabeth Sladen as Sarah Jane Smith and Ian Marter as Harry Sullivan, with Nicholas Courtney's Brigadier and John Levene's Benton also in the cast. The selection moves from Robot through The Ark in Space and The Sontaran Experiment to Genesis of the Daleks and Revenge of the Cybermen. It's a highlights compilation rather than a full-season box set, despite the channel's full-episode focus.

The nonstop classic-episode stream draws the largest daily audience among these active videos, offering adventures from the First through Seventh Doctors. Across the channel, the week brought about 118,000 views without a change in subscribers. Its current daily viewing is a little above usual, a gentler week than similarly sized NCIS and BBC Comedy, both of which added subscribers and drew much larger weekly audiences.

For a shorter archival detour, "The Evil of the Daleks: Episode 2 | FULL EPISODE | Season 4 | Doctor Who: Classic" pairs Patrick Troughton's Second Doctor with Frazer Hines as Jamie and Deborah Watling as Victoria. The Victorian-manor adventure has a special place in the archive: it is the only episode of that serial whose original recording survives.
