Demon Squad: Tooth and Claw | Feature Film

Paranormal investigator Nick Moon has a werewolf to hunt and a conspiracy to uncover in "Demon Squad: Tooth and Claw | Feature Film," Crypt TV's most-watched new upload of the week. Directed by Thomas Smith, with Rob Eubanks, Ginger Cressman and Victoria Antonelli starring, the supernatural mystery has drawn roughly 15,000 views.

The comments have a sequel-shaped theme: viewers ask whether there will be another installment, while others are only just discovering that Demon Squad has returned. One viewer supplies a lighter bit of monster-hunting equipment analysis, comparing a spherical object to a Pokéball.

Then there's a very different threat in "Vines | Short Film." A suburban gardener encounters a botanist's engineered, sentient plant, with the resulting plant-human hybrid retaining two conscious identities at odds with each other. Escaping the monster is one problem; sharing its body sounds like another. Posted late in the week, Vines is currently bringing in the most daily views of any upload on the channel.

Across fifteen releases, Crypt TV also found room for titles as conversational as "Can't miss the potluck" and "No cap, fr fr." Channel-wide daily viewing is moderately above its usual level, while the subscriber count was unchanged over the week.

Among similarly sized television and streaming channels, Peacock and Oscars had much larger weekly view gains. Crypt TV's week is smaller in scale, but specific in its pleasures: a full-length paranormal investigation followed by a short film that makes gardening considerably less restful.
