The buffet can wait. Dane and Stacey's only new upload, "How Good Is the Food in Vanuatu?", takes the New Zealand travelers around Efate for bean-to-bar chocolate, craft rum at 83 Islands Distillery, roadside tuluk and Tanna coffee.

Their aim is to look beyond the resort menu and the brief Port Vila cruise stop. The food video has drawn nearly 7,000 views and is the channel's busiest individual upload for daily viewing right now. Beneath it, one viewer remembers trying Aelan's Epi dark chocolate and only identifying its honey-like aftertaste after returning home. Others single out the chocolate tasting, or the combination of chocolate, coffee and alcohol in one outing.

The trip also has a little continuity to enjoy. "What's VANUATU Really Like?", posted the previous week, remains active with its lap lap preparation, pottery with local artisans, weaving and kava with a chief. The earlier "Rarotonga, Fiji or Vanuatu? (They're NOT The Same!)" adds the broader holiday-planning question, comparing accommodation, getting around, food and culture rather than treating the islands as interchangeable beach breaks.

Subscribers were unchanged over the week, although daily channel viewing is running above its usual level. Weekly views were more modest than at nearby travel channels Jan and Ann and Dots on a Map. For Dane and Stacey, the freshest point of interest is quite specific: what Efate's producers are making, not just where visitors are staying.
