Daniel LaBelle's runaway bicycle takes the scenic route

His only new upload sends a riderless bike through fields, puddles and onto the beach.

Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.

When your bike ghosts you

Daniel LaBelle gets off his bicycle, but the bicycle apparently has somewhere else to be. In the staged sketch "When your bike ghosts you," a routine dismount becomes a cross-country sprint, with Daniel in a blue hoodie and backpack trying to catch transportation that no longer needs him.

Neighborhood roads give way to open fields, puddles and a stretch of shoreline. The joke keeps expanding its geography without needing much dialogue, a neat fit for a creator whose channel description celebrates how much can be communicated without speaking. His only upload of the week has reached nearly seven million views and is comfortably the channel's most active video right now.

Viewers are giving the bicycle a personality of its own: some imagine it giggling, others joke that it deserves an acting credit. The chase also brings Wile E. Coyote and Road Runner to mind, while a few commenters ask for a behind-the-scenes look at how it was made.

The wider channel is moving more slowly than usual, with daily views at roughly half their typical level and subscribers unchanged over the week. That makes the new chase a lively arrival after the previous upload break, rather than evidence of a channel-wide surge.

Older household comedy remains in motion too. The LG laundry ad and the sponsored Shark toddler-cleanup sketch are among Daniel's other most active uploads, but this week's fresh premise trades chores for an exhausting problem outdoors: keeping up with his own bike.
