Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.

A MARTIN SHOW FIGHTING GAME!! I'M A HUGE FAN OF THE SHOW HAD TO PLAY THIS!!!

DashieGames went from jump scares to sitcom fandom across two uploads, with the newer release making a particularly personal choice: a fighting game based on Martin. His title makes the motivation plain: he's a huge fan of the show and had to try it.

Martin Lawrence's 1990s sitcom built its comedy around Detroit radio host Martin Payne and a circle of friends who rarely let an argument pass quietly. That makes a fighting-game adaptation an amusing change of format. Dashie's playthrough reached about 161,000 views in its first ten hours and is currently the channel's busiest draw.

The week's most-watched new upload, though, was the Tales Beyond The Tomb - No Witnesses playthrough, approaching half a million views. Its alarming title, "I SCREAMED SO LOUD MY DAD CAME IN MY ROOM AND HIT ME..", accompanies a comic intro skit with his dad. Viewers talk about the return appearance, Dashie's opening freestyle and the long-running joke about his mixtape's release.

Across the channel, daily viewing is a little above its usual level, while the subscriber count grew over the week. Among nearby variety-gaming channels, CheapPickle had a particularly busy week; The Yogscast is also seeing daily viewing above its norm.

Dashie's voice-only driving lesson remains another active corner of the catalog, nearing a million views. Between that exercise in verbal navigation, horror and Martin, these uploads give his commentary three very different things to bounce off.
