OpTic Dashy revisits MW2's competitive-sniping days

His only new upload sends viewers back to the Intervention, old maps and requests for a trickshot.

Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.

COD PRO Plays MW2 in 2026

What does a modern Call of Duty pro bring back from the original MW2? On OpTic Dashy's channel, the conversation is full of sniper memories: the Intervention's weapon-switch animation, competitive sniping and chaotic rounds on Scrapyard.

"COD PRO Plays MW2 in 2026" was his only upload of the week, reaching about 85,000 views. This is the original 2009 Modern Warfare 2, developed by Infinity Ward, rather than the later game with the same name. That distinction matters when viewers start reminiscing about the sniping scene they grew up with. Some ask for more throwback sessions; another wants to see a trickshot.

The new video also carries the strongest daily momentum on Dashy's shelf, drawing substantially more views right now than his recent reactions to GAMESIR controller drama and FormaL. Those reaction videos retain larger total audiences, with the controller discussion past 200,000 views. FormaL gives that second reaction a familiar connection to Dashy's world: he built championship careers in both Call of Duty and Halo.

Subscribers stayed unchanged over the week, while the channel's daily views are currently well above their usual pace. Nearby shooter channels had varied weeks: More PWR and NiceWigg gained subscribers and drew substantial viewing, while Octane's daily views were below usual. For Dashy, the distinctive draw was a return to an older game, with viewers remembering the sniper as much as the player holding it.
