The magician's newest uploads have modest audiences, while his channel total has made a much larger leap.

Dioconor has added roughly 48 million views in a day, but his newest tricks offer only a small part of that picture. A padlock-and-cards Short and an upload titled "the fantastic magic ball #magic #viral #short" each have audiences in the low thousands, nowhere near enough to account for the channel-wide jump.

Luis Dioconor's catalog has a very different scale from those fresh releases. His most-watched Short, "magic trick so funny #magic #funny #viral", has passed 240 million views. Another coin-themed comedy Short also has an enormous audience. Those totals establish how widely his short-form magic has traveled, though they do not identify what drove this particular day's increase.

Alongside the quick tricks, Dioconor is still making room for introductions. His new "Welcome to magic #magic #live #puzzle " describes the combination he is aiming for: visual illusions and humor, presented by a bilingual magician and comedian.
