Drop A Pin's river question has already drawn more than a quarter-million views in its first 11 hours. "What river flows through the most countries?" is also the channel's busiest video right now, giving the Wonton Don and Uncle Chaps' map-minded show a fresh talking point after its continent quiz.

The channel posted 15 videos this week, with subjects ranging from recognizing flags and countries marked in red to ranking countries by their dog populations. The most watched new upload remains "Name the continents in order of population from highest to least #continents". Its comments have become a geography discussion of their own, especially around Australia and Oceania, with a lighter detour into Antarctica's supposedly well-dressed penguins.

The river upload now carries considerably more daily momentum than that continent question. "What skyline is this? #skyline" is another active newcomer, while "What country is that in red?" continues to pick up views several days after publication.

Subscribers increased over the week, even though today's channel views are running at roughly a third of the usual daily level. Among nearby education and explainer channels, Drop A Pin had the largest weekly view gain. Platypus Economics with Justin Wolfers also had a substantial week; Study Hall and Oxford Academic added no subscribers.

For Drop A Pin, the new river question shifts the challenge from recognizing a place to thinking about how places connect.
