Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.

A Mary Poppins Nanny and Ghostly Lore | Chucky

A nanny dressed as Mary Poppins sounds reassuring, until the conversation turns to White House ghosts. That is the setup in “A Mary Poppins Nanny and Ghostly Lore | Chucky,” the most-watched new upload on EPIC - Movie Clips this week. Annie Gilpin's chat with Henry unwittingly encourages his belief in Chucky, while President Collins and Charlotte discuss their JFK and Jackie costumes.

The clips channel posted seven videos, with Chucky supplying much of the selection: a threatening phone call to Jake, a sinister bedroom plan and a search for a missing doll. DreamWorks offered a lighter change of temperature in “Meet the Mischievous Jack Frost | Rise of the Guardians,” introducing the ice-making troublemaker voiced by Chris Pine.

Neither new arrival accounts for the channel's biggest current burst of viewing. “Escaping A Cannibal Tribe | The Green Inferno,” posted just before this week began, is drawing about 80,000 views a day. Eli Roth's jungle horror provides a distinctly harsher counterpoint to Jack Frost.

EPIC added roughly two million views and gained subscribers over the week, although its daily viewing is below its usual pace. Nearby, EDDIE_editz had a much larger viewing week, while Oliver Harper was quieter. For EPIC, the fresh uploads lean toward Chucky, but the older Green Inferno clip supplies the strongest momentum.
