ESPN FC posts plenty of football debates, but this Short has prompted a rather different request: buy someone a shirt.

The clip, credited in its title to 100gunsu on TikTok, drew roughly a quarter-million views in its first day, far beyond the channel's usual start for Shorts. That large audience did not produce an equally busy conversation. Comments arrived less frequently than on a typical first day.

Among those who did write, jersey requests became the running joke. Several asked ESPN to supply a shirt; another suggested buying one for them instead. One viewer imagined Erling Haaland walking in next, though that is a commenter's punch line, not an appearance announced by the channel.

It is a lighter corner of ESPN FC's output alongside its panel discussions about Manchester United's start and Florian Wirtz, with Dan Thomas fielding questions from viewers on Extra Time.
