The Short drew an estimated 750,000 views in its first day, roughly thirteen times his usual Shorts start. Another Stupid King upload drew almost as large an opening audience, with two more also starting well above the channel's norm.

Episode 7922 opens with a woman tying her hair while wearing a Miami Hurricanes jersey. The clip, presented inside an Instagram screen recording, carries a Miami-Texas Tech score overlay. Ethan cuts in wearing a fast-food-style uniform and looking astonished. This is a comedy reaction sketch, not his own report from a game.

"This has to be AI," he says. Viewers pick up that question: several scrutinize the apparent broadcast, including whether an announcer would say what they hear. Others invoke the teams' past meetings, though their accounts conflict. Those comments don't establish whether the clip is genuine.
