Halo on Legendary, without dying: Frogarchist's idea of fun

The channel's only new upload brings deathless attempts to Halo 1 and 2.

Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.

Halo 1 and 2 Legendary DEATHLESS Attempts (I'm Having FUN)

Frogarchist gave himself a fairly unforgiving assignment: play Halo on Legendary and try not to die. “Halo 1 and 2 Legendary DEATHLESS Attempts (I'm Having FUN)” was his sole new upload, reaching nearly 20,000 views. The parenthetical does a little comic work before the stream even starts.

There is a gentler Halo option, too. “The Halo MCC Multiplayer Experience,” posted just before the week began, is currently drawing the most daily views on the channel. Frogarchist describes it as a more chilled-out return to his Halotuber days, a useful contrast to the deathless challenge. His timed completion attempt in “I Gave Myself 24 Hours to 100% Lego Jurassic World” also remains active, approaching half a million views.

The channel gained subscribers over the week, although daily viewing is now roughly a third of its usual pace. Nearby variety-gaming channels Poppt1 and BlastNit have also slowed, while SlipperyHC had a notably larger weekly subscriber gain. For Frogarchist, the week's clearest thread was returning to Halo, with both multiplayer nostalgia and a much less forgiving campaign challenge.
