Greenskull AI connects PS2 worlds with Minecraft portals
His emulator-modding project lets Steve travel from GTA: San Andreas to Spider-Man 2, with PS1 destinations included.
Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.
I Opened Minecraft Portals Between PS2 Games
Start in San Andreas, switch into Minecraft Steve Mode, then open a portal to another game entirely. Greenskull AI's new project turns a familiar blocky doorway into a connection between separate console worlds, including a trip back to the original PlayStation's Silent Hill.
Two uploads introduced the portal idea this week. The more detailed "I Opened Minecraft Portals Between PS2 Games" drew roughly 40,000 views and is the channel's busiest video right now. "I Opened Minecraft Portals Between Games" followed the next day with a smaller audience.
This is an emulator-modding project built with AI assistance, rather than simply a generated video of games merging. Greenskull describes using Claude to help develop the mashup, with his Depth Charge tool handling visual enhancements and GoldBlock adding the Minecraft functionality. The aim is to make the blocky overlay look at home inside those older worlds.
Viewers are already extending the premise: several bring up Ready Player One, imagining VR travel between games while keeping the same avatar. Others want co-op support or a machinima series where characters from different worlds meet. A portal is apparently also a suggestion box.
The subscriber count held steady, while daily viewing is running above its usual level. Weekly views were close to PeanutButterGamer's, in a group where CZsWorld and The Act Man had much busier weeks.
The older "Tony Hawk's Underground 2 with DLSS 5" continues drawing viewers too, but the new portals now account for the channel's strongest momentum.

A thought. If you could integrated this with VR, you've basically created the Metaverse like in Ready Player One. You know, where they can move between game worlds, but keep a persistent avatar?
@StevenIngramSee it on YouTubeImagine a whole Machinima series made using this. Multiverse videogame storyline and npcs from many worlds meeting each other. That would be so epic!
