Oscar's translated clues put Jack in the GeoGuessr guessing seat
Jack & Oscar's only new upload reverses their earlier Google Translate challenge, with Oscar writing the location descriptions.
Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.
Blind Geoguessr but it's put through Google Translate 3 times
A location clue is only useful if it survives the journey. In "He Put the Geoguessr Round into Google Translate 3 Times," Oscar writes the descriptions, sends them through three translations and leaves Jack to work out where they point.
That role reversal gives their earlier translation challenge another outing, this time with JackSucksAtGeography doing the guessing and zi8gzag supplying the words. The week's sole new upload has reached nearly 90,000 views and is comfortably the busiest video in their current collection.
Viewers are picking apart the language as much as the geography. A contradictory description involving trees has become a talking point, along with the translation's small demotion of a cherished friendship from "dearest" to "dear." Others suggest trying dictation next, letting naturally spoken descriptions make the same linguistic trip.
The channel gathered about 214,000 views over the week, while its subscriber count stayed unchanged. Its daily viewing is now close to three times its usual level. Among nearby variety-gaming channels, Jorge Powell also had a substantial week of views, while Katie Wilson's was quieter.
Jack & Oscar's older challenges have their own activity, too. "Geoguessr But Jack can ONLY Lie" is the next most active, asking Jack to help Oscar through a duel without telling the truth. Behind it sits "Geoguessr but Every Round is put through Google Translate 3 times": between deliberate lies and accidental mistranslations, straightforward directions are rather scarce here.

You should do this, but on dictation mode where its just whatever you would naturally say to describe the round.
