Davey mistakes Jay Prehistoric Pets' boots for the menu

The young American alligator's feeding clip anchors eight uploads spanning vipers, water monitors and a snake encounter in China.

Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.

Davey is out! 🐊 Croco on the Loose! 😱

The chicken is on a grabber pole, but Davey keeps heading for Jay Brewer's boots. "We're trying to feed you chicken, not my feet," Jay tells the young American alligator after lifting him out of his enclosure pond.

That small feeding-time negotiation is the center of "Davey is out! 🐊 Croco on the Loose! 😱", the most-watched of Jay Prehistoric Pets' new uploads this week, with about 23,000 views. Davey also snaps close to Jay's knee before being redirected toward the meat. In the comments, the foot-and-leg commentary becomes a running joke, alongside questions about Davey's age, his species and what alligators do during winter.

The rest of the week offers quite a reptile itinerary: exercise for water monitors, a snake found in a Chinese forest and a closer look at a viral claim about a Gaboon viper supposedly loose in Santa Ana. That last upload asks how much wildlife footage circulating online can be trusted, rather than simply accepting the story's premise.

Davey currently brings in the most daily views among the channel's active videos, followed by a newly posted viper arrival. Across the catalog, Jay Prehistoric Pets added roughly 1.1 million views over seven days. Subscribers held steady, while today's viewing pace is below the channel's usual level.

Nearby animal channels have livelier viewing days, notably Natural Habitat Shorts and AGuyAndAGolden. For Jay, this week's most distinctive exchange is closer to the floor: an offered chicken dinner and an alligator with other ideas.
