It has reached nearly 390,000 views in its first 16 hours, already well beyond the channel's usual full-day audience for a Short.

The edit gives Trevor a chance to experience school from the other side of the intimidation. A gardener he tormented gets hold of him, and classmates surround him once they recognize who he is. But Evan, the student Trevor targeted, interrupts their retaliation. The grandmother supplies the magic; Evan supplies the restraint.

Viewers are making superhero comparisons to Aunt May and picking apart the dialogue, including a warning about not asking again that turns out not to be final.

The fast start accompanies a broader change for Josiah Fi: its subscriber count has grown by more than a tenth over the past week.
