Justin Flom promises a fright for trick-or-treaters
Two more Halloween-themed uploads follow his huge family video, alongside another unusually large subscriber gain.
Why this story? The channel is adding 100,039 subscribers a day, 9.6 times a normal day (10,439).
Trick or treaters are gonna freak!
The Halloween run continues. Justin Flom has added about 100,000 subscribers in a day, nearly ten times his usual daily gain, as his uploads turn to costumes and trick-or-treaters.
Since the subscriber surge we reported here earlier this month, Flom has posted a costume-reveal video and “Trick or treaters are gonna freak!” The latter puts the promised reaction right in the title, though it is the earlier family-themed upload that remains much larger: it has reached roughly 44 million views.
That seasonal turn fits a creator who describes himself as a builder, comedian and “sometimes a magician,” with spray-paint art and a trap-door house among his recurring creations. His overall daily views are only modestly above their usual pace, so the subscriber jump stands out more than the change in viewing. It is not clear which upload prompted those new subscriptions; the latest additions give his Halloween lineup more than one entry point.
