Tinkaton brings pink-hammer menace to MandJTV's Pokémon week
Michael's only new upload puts the Tinkatink evolution family under a less-than-cuddly spotlight.
Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.
The Scariest Pokémon Line...
Cute isn't the same as harmless. MandJTV's "The Scariest Pokémon Line..." gives Michael's Pokémon commentary a hammer-wielding subject, and viewers have promptly appointed Corviknight the aggrieved party.
The Tinkatink family is the focus of the conversation, especially its final evolution, Tinkaton. There is a genuine bit of Pokémon lore behind the joke: Tinkaton's Pokédex entry describes it knocking rocks toward flying Corviknight with its hammer. Pink coloring and a Fairy typing don't necessarily make for a peaceful neighbor.
The upload has gathered roughly 267,000 views. In the comments, viewers imagine Corviknight warning its younger evolutions about the family, joke about the bird funding the video, and debate the difference between Tinkaton's fearsome lore and how an actual Pokémon battle would play out. That last distinction gives the discussion something more to chew on than the size of the hammer.
Michael posted just this one video, but the older shelf remains active. "Pokémon Lost to History," published about a month ago, is drawing slightly more daily views than the new upload. "How to Use Your Master Ball in Every Pokémon Game" also remains among the channel's busiest videos.
Across the channel, the week brought about 2.8 million views, with subscribers unchanged. Daily viewing is currently below its usual pace. Nearby in gaming commentary, AngryJoeShow is having a much busier-than-usual day, while Austin John Plays is a little quieter. For MandJTV, a single fresh Pokémon argument has joined two older uploads with plenty of momentum.
