October's Pokémon memes get the MandJTV Extra treatment

A new ASPITPIAY episode has arrived since the September roundup we covered, alongside a sharp jump in the channel's daily views.

Why this story? The whole channel is running at 420,517 views a day, 10 times a normal day (40,382).

MandJTV Extra has drawn roughly 420,000 views in a day, more than ten times its usual daily audience. This time, there's a fresh monthly meme review on the shelf.

Since we covered September's episode here, MandJTV has posted "Excellent Pokémon Meme Review", the October installment of ASPITPIAY. It has already collected nearly 400,000 views since arriving three days ago. That is the new development, though the channel-wide jump cannot be assigned to this upload alone.

The monthly reviews give this extra channel a recurring fixture: August's "Very Funny Pokémon Meme Review", September's "Fun Pokémon Meme Review" and now October's "Excellent Pokémon Meme Review". The adjectives change; the Pokémon meme-review format stays.

Between those roundups, "What's Wrong with This Pokémon?" offers a different test of Pokémon familiarity. Its creatures have been subtly edited, and the challenge is to spot what has changed, rather than recognize the joke.
