The setting gets its turn. MASTERPIECE PBS's most watched new upload takes the cast and crew of The Marlow Murder Club behind the scenes of the real town and its Season 3 filming locations, drawing roughly 11,000 views.

That makes a fitting companion to the week's rule-breaking sleuths clip. Newly promoted DI Tanika Malik has an unconventional group helping with her cases: retired archaeologist Judith Potts, dog walker Suzie Harris and vicar's wife Becks Starling. Marlow is a real riverside town on the Thames in Buckinghamshire, giving the fictional mysteries a distinctly English backdrop. Other clips trade clue-hunting for domestic complications, including a mother-in-law moving in and a love triangle.

Across fifteen new uploads, there was room to let the actors play, too. "This or That with the Cast of All Creatures Great and Small" poses choices between cows and dogs, or a pub and a cozy fire. It's currently the channel's busiest individual video for daily views. The Marble Hall Murders cast, with Lesley Manville and Mark Bonnar named in the description, gets a playful interrogation about whether the actors themselves could get away with fictional crimes.

The channel added about 682,000 views and gained subscribers over the week, while daily viewing is a little above its usual level. Its weekly audience sits close to The Good Place's and above Star Trek's; Shameless and BBC Antiques Roadshow had substantially larger viewing weeks. Back on MASTERPIECE's own shelf, the Marlow clip "Words of wisdom," tagged with Jo Martin, is another of the videos drawing the most daily attention.
