I Opened A £5000 Limited Edition Football Box For 200,000 Subscribers!

Simon has found a suitably collectible way to mark the occasion: a limited-edition football box, with a thank-you to viewers in the description. That celebration is currently MiniminterCollects' busiest video by daily views, while the channel's subscribers grew over the week to reach 200,000.

It was a packed opening schedule, with eight uploads. The biggest audience went to "I Opened The Most Random Mystery Box EVER...", which has drawn nearly a quarter-million views. The comments give a sense of just how random the selection became: viewers mention Harry Potter, Michael Jackson and Stan Lee cards, alongside discussion of Pokémon's Crown Zenith set. One collector recalls completing that set; others want more of these mixed boxes or a look at Simon's personal collection.

Football provided the week's next-largest new audiences through Topps Royalty Premier League and Topps Museum Hat-Trick openings. But this was hardly an all-soccer shelf: encased NBA autographs, a limited-edition Walking Dead box and "SUPERMAN vs BATMAN… Who Has the Better Cards?" all had their turn.

Among nearby collectibles channels, Skill Check also had a substantial viewing week, and ZerkaaCards added subscribers. MiniminterCollects recorded the largest weekly views gain in this peer group, with today's viewing pace comfortably above its usual level.

The freshest openings are doing much of the work right now: the subscriber celebration and mystery box carry the strongest daily momentum, followed by an Upper Deck ICE outing featuring three NHL boxes with just a single pack apiece.
