Allen and Duncan's final staredown leads UFC Vegas 122 coverage

MMA Junkie's full-card faceoffs draw an unusually fast start, with viewers discussing everything from stage exits to a misleading-looking name.

Why this story? The video opened at a pace of 82,703 views a day, 46 times a normal first day on this channel (1,808).

UFC Vegas 122 full card final faceoffs: Brendan Allen vs. Christian Leroy Duncan

The fight breakdown and the full weigh-in broadcast are both available, but MMA Junkie's final-faceoffs video has drawn more views than either ahead of Saturday's Las Vegas card. It reached roughly 47,000 views in nine hours, already far beyond the channel's usual first full day.

“UFC Vegas 122 full card final faceoffs: Brendan Allen vs. Christian Leroy Duncan” brings together the last staredowns for the entire card. Allen and Duncan headline at middleweight, and MMA Junkie's separate weigh-in coverage confirms that both made weight. For viewers wanting the matchup explained rather than just the pre-fight formalities, analyst Dan Tom also has a dedicated breakdown.

The comments are already several times busier than a usual full day, with some attention going to the staging itself. One viewer wonders why opponents leaving in the same direction takes something away from a faceoff. Another describes initially reading headlines about Fili and Kamaka III as though they were meeting for a third time. Even before the bouts, the presentation has given MMA Junkie's viewers something to pick apart.
