N64 30th Anniversary Party! SummerCart 64 Surfin' with Still Loading Podcast! :: LIVE STREAM

Coury Carlson and Marc "Try4ce" Duddleson made room for a birthday celebration between the picture-quality deep dives. Their only new upload, "N64 30th Anniversary Party! SummerCart 64 Surfin' with Still Loading Podcast! :: LIVE STREAM", revisits Nintendo's cartridge console three decades after its 1996 debut.

The stream moves from opening chat into SummerCart 64, giving the hardware-focused channel a more social outing. It has drawn roughly 9,300 views, most of them arriving in its first day. One viewer singles out Josh as someone they'd like to see return for more streams, a small invitation to keep the guest chair open.

The anniversary broadcast also has the most daily viewing among the channel's busiest videos right now. Behind it are two distinctly My Life in Gaming questions: how much better can the Analogue 3D's picture get through updates, and can a PC Engine modification soften its harsh RGB colors? The former explores horizontal upscaling, progressive output and HDR changes; the latter compares raw RGB with the Palette Cleanser mod and asks viewers which video connection they prefer.

Subscribers stayed unchanged, while the channel added about 39,000 views over the week. That made for a smaller viewing week than those of the nearby gaming channels, with GVG and Luke Stephens LIVE drawing substantially larger weekly audiences. Today's viewing is a little above My Life in Gaming's usual daily pace, though, with the N64 celebration sharing attention with those careful investigations into how old games look on screen.
