The music means trouble. Nathan Doan barely has time to admire the open field of his new world before a masked attacker with a shovel sends him running for a weapon.

The staged sketch, "When you get Reincarnated into another world #anime #isekai #gaming #comedy", has passed 1.5 million views. Its fantasy adventure has a distinctly inconvenient twist: escaping ordinary life doesn't spare you from bad loot or a merchant who expects you to listen.

Inside a cabin, Doan's protagonist finds a seller surrounded by unimpressive swords. The merchant begins explaining Acquaint Fates, the wish-granting items familiar to Genshin Impact players. Doan responds with the instinct of someone who has sat through enough game tutorials: "Skip."

"Did you just try to skip my dialogue?" the merchant asks.

A chicken mushroom skewer eventually buys a chance at a better weapon. Despite the promised minimum quality, the result is a two-star "Worn-Out Sword," leaving Doan to face the shovel with considerably less equipment than he'd hoped for.

The comments pick up on the specific game-world details: viewers compare the attacker to Genshin's Treasure Hoarders, make jokes about hidden enemies triggering battle music, and single out the sword flip during the duel. Others linger on the contradiction of a self-described NPC having such an elaborate inner monologue. Doan has given the background character plenty to think about.
