Kahlo is a natural subject for a channel that explores beauty through history, film and television. The Mexican painter made self-portraiture a central part of her work, giving Natalie's makeup-history series a connection to an artist whose image is inseparable from her art. In the comments, viewers recall learning about Kahlo at school, seeing her work in person and suggest Sister Rosetta Tharpe as a future subject.
