Llamas speaks separately with Republican Mike Rogers and Democrat Abdul El-Sayed, extending NBC News' Michigan coverage beyond El-Sayed's earlier Meet the Press appearance.

The full episode was the most watched of the channel's new uploads this week, though it had been online for only two hours. Its election interviews prompted a discussion in the comments about whether the candidates received equally probing questions and equally courteous treatment. Those are viewers' judgments, but they make the interview approach itself part of the conversation.

NBC News posted 15 videos across the week. Alongside Nightly News, Hallie Jackson NOW connected Trump's Arizona and Montana rallies with rising costs in the last inflation report before the midterms. Across the channel, weekly viewing reached about 43 million views, while subscribers remained unchanged. Daily viewing is roughly a quarter below its usual pace. CNN, MS NOW and Fox News each drew larger weekly audiences; Sky News had a smaller weekly total but was enjoying a marked lift in daily viewing.

There was room for a different kind of access, too: "Stay Tuned NOW Streaming Behind The Scenes! - Oct 14" joined the week's broadcast uploads, offering a backstage counterpart to the finished news programs.
