VisionQuest gives New Rockstars an Ultron-sized puzzle

Erik Voss and Jessica Clemons turn the first two episodes into an aftershow, a detailed breakdown and a separate theory about Ultron.

Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.

I Figured Out ULTRON’S PLAN in VISIONQUESTI Figured Out ULTRON’S PLAN in VISIONQUEST

Ultron wants something, and Erik Voss isn't settling for the obvious answer. In "I Figured Out ULTRON'S PLAN in VISIONQUEST," he revisits the opening episodes to weigh escape, world domination and the possibility that Wanda Maximoff offers a more useful clue.

That theory is drawing the most daily views on New Rockstars right now, followed by Voss's expansive breakdown of the same episodes. The channel has given VisionQuest several kinds of attention: Jessica Clemons joins Voss for the question-led Aftershow, while the breakdown digs into opening-code secrets, Paladin's mysterious client and the Ship of Theseus. A robot's identity crisis can apparently keep a whole upload schedule occupied.

Across 13 uploads, though, the week's most-watched new release was "Avengers Doomsday: Doctor Doom's TROPHY ROOM Breakdown!" It reached roughly 765,000 views with Voss examining the Heroes and Villains display at New York Comic Con. The video includes a Diablo Immortal sponsorship. In the comments, viewers puzzle over whether a tapestry depicts Doom's wife and son or a young Doom with his mother; others connect the collection to Odin's trophy room and wonder what a symbiote might imply. Those are theories, not confirmed plot points.

Daily channel views are modestly above their usual level, while the subscriber total was unchanged over the week. Nearby in film and TV commentary, Dead Meat is enjoying a stronger-than-usual daily audience, while Corridor Crew is close to its normal rhythm.

There was room beyond Marvel, too. Gina Ippolito's The Cabin in the Woods breakdown follows the film's monster references from the betting whiteboard to the elevator cubes, giving the channel's detail hunters a very different collection to inspect.

  • The tapestry that doom looks at ... What if that's not dooms wife and son and it's actually a young doom and his mother ??
  • I mean.. Odin had a trophy room full of the most powerful items/objects/beings in the universe.. for safe keeping AND to use when he wanted or needed..

  • 3:33 couldn't it also be a true "Cosmic Cube" from the comic? We had the Tesseract in the MCU but that isn't the same thing, perhaps it was originally supposed to be a real cosmic cube but they never actually called it that.

  • That symbiote is especially interesting because wouldn’t it mean Sony would have had to approve it to be part of the marketing for doomsday which could mean it could make an appearance earlier than secret wars
