Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.

The Greatest Thing I've Ever Seen

May's strongest draw on Nyx Fears is a review with a wonderfully unreserved title: "The Greatest Thing I've Ever Seen." More than two years after posting, her look at Senritsu Kaiki World Kowasugi! is drawing the channel's largest daily audience. The Japanese horror film comes from Kōji Shiraishi, whose work also includes the found-footage film Noroi: The Curse, another title named in the video's tags.

Nothing new arrived this week, so there's room to explore the wider collection. "ULTIMATE FOUND FOOTAGE ICEBERG EXPLAINED" stretches from The Blair Witch Project and Cloverfield to Trollhunter and Europa Report. It also includes What We Do in the Shadows, a reminder that a camera inside the story can serve comedy as well as scares. "Horror Franchise Tier List" offers a different route through May's movie interests, with its description cheerfully anticipating disagreement.

The channel added about 6,300 views over seven days, while subscribers stayed unchanged. Today's viewing is below its usual daily level. Among similarly sized channels, Yvonne Ng had a much busier viewing week; Nyx Fears' smaller week belongs to its existing collection, especially that emphatically titled Japanese horror review.
