Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.

POV: Giving out candy on Halloween 🎃

OkCron added about 100,000 subscribers over seven days, with a week that found comedy in both handing out candy and handing over a controller.

The most-watched new upload, "POV: Giving out candy on Halloween 🎃", has reached roughly 2.4 million views. Its comment section has become part costume-planning exchange, part recollection of the sketch: viewers mention Rick and Morty outfits, repeat the literal-minded response to "Say it," and pick out the objection about taking only one piece of candy.

But the freshest burst of activity belongs to "POV: Playing Wii with your Siblings 😭", which is currently drawing more daily views than any other upload on the channel. That premise has a familiar home here: "POV: You give your older brother the controller" is already among OkCron's most-watched Shorts. Sibling gaming grievances seem to offer plenty of material.

"YouTube added GIFs…" and "Sports deciding what times to play 🏟️⏱️" round out the busiest videos right now. Across the channel, daily viewing is about a third above its usual level. Nearby sketch channels Shooteo and Sheena Melwani are also drawing above-usual daily audiences, while JJEverettRose is having a slower spell.

OkCron's lineup wasn't all POV comedy, either. "All of my Legendary Finds 👀" and "5 SAD facts about Pumpkins… 💔🎃" gave the week's fifteen uploads a couple of distinctly different detours.
