Oscar Owen Magic puts a pencil through a tenner, without a hole

Six uploads pair everyday-object tutorials with a trailer for Owen's own playing-card project.

Mind Blowing Note Trick

The note survives. In "Mind Blowing Note Trick," Oscar Owen pushes a pencil through a folded £10 banknote, then opens it to show the paper intact. The explanation is less destructive than the demonstration suggests: a tucked-in triangular fold provides a concealed route for the pencil.

That compact lesson drew roughly 21,000 views, the largest audience among Oscar Owen Magic's six uploads this week. In the comments, an old ten-pound note prompts a little nostalgia, while another viewer likens the folding to origami. Here, careful creasing matters as much as sleight of hand.

The other substantial arrival is "Double-O Noir Playing Cards | Official Trailer," a promotional video for Owen's own card project with Room One Cards. Owen says it has been two years in development. Its concealed marking systems let a magician identify cards from their backs, a different approach from making an ordinary banknote do something unexpected.

The trailer currently has the strongest daily momentum among the channel's uploads, followed by "Best Coin Vanish Trick" and the slightly older "Learn the Visually Vanishing Card Trick." Rubber bands, fingertip coin production and a shake change round out the week's lessons.

Across the channel, views rose by nearly a million over seven days, while the subscriber count remained unchanged. Daily viewing is a little below its usual level. Among nearby arts-and-crafts channels, Nakshi Kantha World is having a pronounced viewing surge; Owen's week is steadier, with the new card trailer now supplying his busiest individual upload.
