When a Skateboarding Trick Takes an Unexpected Turn…
The skateboard isn't what viewers are most concerned about. Beneath Patrol POV's "When a Skateboarding Trick Takes an Unexpected Turn…," several commenters focus on the skater's apparent effort to avoid hitting other people. One wonders whether protecting the board from the river was also part of the calculation.
That clip drew about 44,000 views, making it the more watched of the channel's two new uploads. "When a Teenager Instantly Regrets His Decision..." drew a much smaller audience. Patrol POV collects footage of real-world incidents and unexpected encounters; these are clips it posts, not necessarily events it filmed.
The bigger viewing activity sits further back on the shelf. "When a Dad Tests His Son's Loyalty…" has reached roughly 29 million views and remains the channel's strongest daily draw by a wide margin. A pool-day mishap and a delivery-driver clip are also attracting fresh views.
Subscribers increased modestly over the week, while today's viewing rate is a little below the channel's usual level. Among nearby channels, AirHard had a particularly large week and The 2 Johnnies a quieter one. For Patrol POV, the newest talking point is smaller and specific: what the skater was trying to protect.
