The hardware-focused Pokémon essay has passed 123,000 views during a week without new uploads.

Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.

How The Nintendo Switch 2 BROKE Pokemon Speedruns

The upload schedule stayed clear. PulseEffects posted nothing new, leaving its Pokémon speedrunning essays to bring in roughly 29,000 views over the week.

For a catch-up, "How The Nintendo Switch 2 BROKE Pokemon Speedruns" offers the hardware angle. Its title frames the newer console as a disruption to familiar routes through Pokémon, with tags spanning FireRed and LeafGreen through Sword and Shield and Scarlet and Violet. It is among the channel's most active uploads right now, nearly matching the daily viewing of "The Werster Situation is Worse Than You Think."

There is a longer historical detour, too: "The Dream That Changed Pokemon Fire Red Speedruns Forever..." continues to pick up a smaller trickle of views months after publication.

Subscribers held steady, while daily viewing is running at about a quarter of its usual pace. Nearby gaming-commentary channel NerdNest is also having a slower stretch; OhNoItsAlexx and Paul Tassi are seeing substantially busier daily viewing than usual. For PulseEffects, the Switch 2 essay remains a particularly active part of an otherwise upload-free week.
