Rough seas and a food forest on Sailing La Vagabonde
Riley's emergency-stop episode pairs a shredded sail and electrical trouble with planting work back on land.
Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.
Riley Makes an Illegal Emergency Stop.. 4m Waves, Electrics Down
A sail shreds offshore; back at the farm, there are plants to collect. Sailing La Vagabonde's biggest new upload cuts between two very different kinds of work, with Riley's difficult passage sharing the episode with a food forest taking shape.
"Riley Makes an Illegal Emergency Stop.. 4m Waves, Electrics Down" has drawn roughly 615,000 views. Its chapters move from fast sailing to a damaged sail, worsening weather and problems at sea, interrupted by returns to the farm. That alternating rhythm has become a talking point in the comments: viewers discuss the editing, the crew's teamwork and the contrast between offshore discomfort and planting on land.
The other new upload, "The BEST Place We've Ever Sailed 🥰", offers a rather gentler title. But it is the emergency-stop episode that accounts for most of the new-upload viewing and carries the channel's strongest daily momentum by a considerable margin.
The tropical-land project we covered previously hasn't disappeared beneath the sailing story. "We bought land in the tropics.. and have a LOT to do before he gets here!" remains among the channel's busiest uploads, along with the home-build location update.
Subscribers held steady at two million over the week, while the channel added just over a million views. Daily viewing is currently less than half its usual pace. Among nearby travel channels, Simon Wilson and Camper MidNight had substantially bigger viewing weeks; La Vagabonde's weekly gain was closer to Trek Trendy's. Here, the distinctive attraction is the split itinerary: tending a future home while getting the floating one through difficult water.
