Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.

Godzilla's Kiss of Death on the Female MUTO. #monster #movie #godzilla #kaiju

Sci Movies usually draws roughly 27,000 views a day; its current daily audience is less than a fifth of that. No new uploads arrived this week, but the channel's movie-and-TV commentary catalog brought in about 158,000 views, while its subscriber count stayed unchanged.

Godzilla supplies the most momentum among its highlighted older uploads. "Godzilla's Kiss of Death on the Female MUTO. #monster #movie #godzilla #kaiju" revisits the creature confrontation in Gareth Edwards' 2014 film, the starting point for the MonsterVerse. Posted nearly four months ago, the clip is drawing more daily views than the channel's highlighted Falling Skies and John Carter excerpts.

Those offer two rather different alien encounters. The Falling Skies upload centers on an unsettling eye-invader premise from the resistance drama starring Noah Wyle. John Carter takes the pulp-adventure route, with Taylor Kitsch transported to Barsoom, where his newfound strength draws him into Martian conflict. These are edited excerpts and commentary on existing productions, not original Sci Movies films.

Among similarly sized channels, Nyxalis Moive had a particularly busy viewing week, while Ben's Take was much quieter. Sci Movies sits in the lower half of this peer selection for weekly views, with an older Godzilla encounter remaining its clearest pocket of activity.
