Simon Brodkin makes cacao a customer-service emergency
His only new upload puts Notting Hill Dad's chocolate complaint at the center of the joke.
Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.
Military grade cacao 💣
Customer-service workers have their own stories to add beneath Simon Brodkin's "Military grade cacao 💣". Several recognize the complaint-handling routine, while others debate whether high-cacao chocolate is a treat or an endurance test. One picks out the glasses being pushed up his nose, a small character detail amid the chocolate fuss.
This is a character sketch, not a real customer complaint. Viewers identify Brodkin's Notting Hill Dad, with dinner-party jokes and sympathy for complaints staff extending the premise in the comments. It was his only new upload of the week and reached almost 100,000 views within two days.
The wider channel added about two million views over the week, and subscribers continued to grow. Its daily viewing pace is a little above its usual level, though the biggest draw right now is an older stand-up clip about Americans and British banter. That September upload is drawing more daily views than the cacao sketch; "HARRY & MEG ARE BACK IN UK! 🇬🇧" also remains among the channel's busiest videos.
Among channels of a similar subscriber size, Moments Brain and CamsBanter had much larger viewing weeks. Brodkin's week was more compact: one new character outing, with the stand-up shelf doing plenty of the work alongside it.

Tbh the difference between 70% and 85% cacao is the difference between it being edible or a hot-wings level ordeal.
