Cody has a sweltering apartment to deal with. Junior sees a more pressing problem: there is nowhere to sit. That difference in priorities sets up "SML Movie: Junior's Furniture Shopping!", the most-watched of SML's two new uploads, with nearly 2.9 million views.

The puppet sketch splits the roommates' day in two. Cody waits for an AC repairman while Junior and Joseph choose themed furniture at Rooms To Go, then head for roller coasters rather than home. Stuart Big, the mouse repairman, adds another familiar face to the apartment's increasingly chaotic maintenance arrangements. The comedy gets decidedly dark when repairs and delivery go wrong.

Viewers are picking out the amusement-park screams and the difficulty of holding a camera on a coaster. Others recognize a returning roar as a callback to older SML videos, while birthday wishes for Chris, also known as Pooby, fill part of the conversation.

"SML Movie: Scream 3" supplies the week's other new story, bringing Ghostface into the puppet-comedy lineup. Both uploads have passed the two-million mark. Furniture shopping currently draws the most daily views of any individual SML upload, followed by Scream 3 and the previous week's meme excursion, "SML Movie: Jeffy's Tung Tung Tung Sahur!"

Across the channel, daily viewing is running at nearly twice its usual pace, although subscribers were unchanged over the week. Sofi Manassyan had a particularly large week among nearby sketch-comedy channels; SML's weekly views sat between Onevilage and Brianna Mizura. For SML, the freshest draw is an ordinary apartment errand that leaves Cody doing anything but relaxing on the new furniture.
