"This brand of TikTok nurse needs to be STOPPED" briefly fooled some viewers before they recognized Smosh. Several comments describe taking the staged sketch for an actual nurse's TikTok, a particularly fitting response to a parody of the format.
The October 9 upload was the more watched of Smosh's two new sketches, reaching about 399,000 views. The conversation underneath is unusually specific: viewers point to the opening head movements, discuss Ian Hecox being the voice of reason and request another nurse-and-patient installment. Others recognize it as a throwback.
The second arrival, "Please don't tell the restaurant it's my birthday," trades online oversharing for a familiar plea to avoid public attention over dinner. It drew roughly half the nurse sketch's first-day views, but is currently attracting the most daily viewing of any individual Smosh upload.
