PlayStation just announced a new controller

SpawnPoiint's Chris approaches his desk with a controller already in hand and a familiar problem: "Guys, I don't need another one, but PlayStation have just announced a new limited edition PS5 controller for Gran Turismo."

The racing details explain the temptation. Promo footage on his monitor shows a textured carbon fiber front plate, bonnet pins, racing stripes and anniversary branding. "PlayStation just announced a new controller" became the week's most-watched upload, reaching roughly 264,000 views. Chris gives October 22 as the preorder date and December 10 as the release date.

Viewers have their own shopping criteria. Several bring up stick drift, while others debate the extra logos or whether a replacement shell would satisfy the same urge. One remembers not having played Gran Turismo since its PS2 days. The design is the starting point, not the whole conversation.

Controllers bookend the six-upload week. The newer Xbox anniversary reveal, "The best looking controller?", currently has the strongest daily momentum, followed by "Before you buy Modern Warfare 4" and "POV: You're playing GTA 6". That last upload imagines a future play session, rather than presenting a review of the game.

Subscribers held steady, and daily views are running at a little over half their usual pace. Even so, SpawnPoiint added about three million views over the week, the largest weekly gain among the nearby gaming channels here. For Chris, the freshest attention is on another controller, this time an Xbox one.
